Sean, you may want to read into the specs again. The Wii's CPU is more powerful than the Xbox's. Just because it has a higher MHz rating, doesn't make it instantly more powerful. Their CPUs are completely different beasts. The XB1 uses a modified CISC X86 CPU where as the Wii uses a a modifed RISC Power PC CPU. A RISC vs a CISC CPU will beat it hands down due to the way they crunch data, although with dual/quad cored CISC CPUs now it changes things a bit.

am i the only one who thinks this is wrong?! what has the size of the game to do with the graphical quality? nothing. a game with 20 GB worth of data can still look bad and a game with 200 MB can wlook awsome. i don't get what some people are talking about here.

You're not alone. The argument that file sizes have anything to do with quality is erroneous. After all, it's not about size, it's what you do with it. Additionally, in terms of disk capacity, the Wii is neither better nor worse than the PS2. They're actually identical.

It's a shame some people are so insecure about not having HD graphics on their Wii that they are overlooking some truly beautiful games out there. Why is everything about scoring points against other systems? Did any of you buy a Wii for the graphics, really? I didn't. I bought it as I knew it would deliver the magical gaming experiences Nintendo always deliver with the added bonus of a futuristic and innovative control system.

Maybe I've been gaming too long (and learned to appreciate each era of gaming) but I couldn't care less what other people on other consoles were playing as I am extremely content with what I have.

I'd be more than happy if the Wii is Ninty's only console for another five years, then at least I'll have the cash to play every game I want
