Sorry if this is old news, but I just got the Internet Channel now that I've discovered it's free! I'll only be using it occasionally, because it requires having my parents' computer running the WiFi software with the firewall off. Still, now that I've downloaded it, I can have it anytime without receiving any future charges.

@iz2009: In case they ever start charging for it again. Remember that the Internet Channel was originally free, then they started charging 500 points for it. Now that it's free, those who paid for it will receive a free NES title.

It was free during the Beta period. Nintendo and Opera were clear that they would begin charging for it as soon as it exited Beta. So it's not like people were blindsided by the channel suddenly costing money.
Only thing that aggravated me in the description it said you could watch video on most sites. And it was far from true. No Hulu,No Veoh, only Youtube pretty mcuh.I am glad they are giving me an NES game sometime soon.
