Chick chick chick chick chicken, lay a little egg for me, Chick chick chick chick chicken, I want one for my tea. I haven't had an egg since breakfast and now it's half past three so Chick chick chick chick chicken, lay a little egg for me.
lol guys 9.5 is a very very good score, especially coming from the strict IGN (the highest score they have out now is 9.7 for galaxy i think [for wii ratings only])
I quite agree with the score because it is true, if you've owned all these games before these are all old games you've already played so its not perfect in the sense that you're not experiencing much new. For newcomers who've never played it obviously its an 11/10, but personally i say 9.5 is a fair score f, i would give it a 9.7 or even 9.8 just to place it above galaxy though lol
I pre-ordered mine on Gamestop.com because of all the bonuses. They said they ran out of posters, but are giving me 10 dollars off my next purchase, so I will be able to get Donkey Kong Jungle Beat for 20 bucks instead of 30. I am also getting the free shirt, which is cool. Anyways, so stoked for this, I think the game ships tomorrow, from what Gamestop.com said, so this will be a fun thing to play all weekend.

Regarding my signature, IGN's positive response to this game - and to 'hardcore' gaming in general -
If there was - indeed - such a proliferation of hardcore gaming in general, on all systems, or on all systems save Wii - why should Wii be noticed by these great generals of game reviews?
Why should MPTrilogy be noticed? Why should this game compilation be held as such a high standard for quality hardcore gaming? Why also should the Orange Compilation Box recieve such attention, such adulation, such respect? If hardcore gaming is indeed in its 'prime' why should these compilations, rereleases, and ports gain such attention and stand above so many untold new releases?
Why indeed? Because the number of quality games in gaming - on any and all systems - in any and all times, 'hardcore' or no - is and remains a very small number - and only presumption, false witness, and smug, self congratulatory politics could lead to such a foolish quote as you behold in my signature.
Viva La Revolution! - Sic Semper Tyranius!
IGN: The holiday Wii lineup looks thin for the hardcore crowd. We see this. Gamers see this. What, if anything, is Nintendo planning to address it?
Oh good, I am neither a gamer or hardcore. Saves me from having to be IGNorant. Right, Down, A, Down, Right, Up

Sic indeed.
Well, congratulatory politics aside, the only slated holiday Wii games are a port of CoD4, Arc Rise Fantasia, The Princess & the Frog, Avatar, Diabolik: Original Sin, Pop'n Music, and World of Zoo.
Comparatively, the 360 has Bioshock 2, Dragon Age: Origins, CoD: Modern Warfare 2, Assassin's Creed II, L4D 2, The Saboteur, Edge of Twilight, and Scourge.
Sooo... even thought the number of quality games is small (as you said), the number of quality holiday Wii games is still relatively smaller than the number of quality holiday 360 games (as IGN said.)
I thought Echoes was just as good as the other two. But then i really appreciated the higher level of difficulty and loved it in Dark Aether. It felt so alien, especially the way you could see and feel it eating away at your suit. And the light-suit? Wow!
Metroid Prime 2 was NOT a dip in the series as some suggest. It was the dark middle-chapter that all Trilogy's should have.

It's the only one I haven't played, so I look forward to it, despite the (relatively) negative reviews. Can't wait to figure out for myself how it stacks up!
