I actually haven't played the game since my last post in this thread...been busy with other stuff like finishing up A Boy and His Blob. I really am planning to resume it soon, though!

@Odnetnin: You're right, that review really does describe the game perfectly. It's a shame most of the ones more people will see do not.

Well with games like No More Heroes 2 and CvsT I can see why people would be conflicted on this game, but it's a REALLY good game and should be heavily considered when picking up a game if you have limited money.

And that toys r us deal is really sweet, I wish Canada had it...And Dead Space priced at 30 bucks. lol

That CVG review is nicely written and paints the game in a much better light. I cannot remember who's down to review it for NL, but I'll be curious to see what they think.

Now I'm conflicted. I want to get this, but Tatsowhatever VS. Capcom is looking really, really good. Plus it has online and DLC so...decisions...

If you buy TvC from Toys R Us, you can get $15 off Crystal Bearers...

Now that is a deal!

Oh, wow. I didn't uncover much of nothin' in this game on my first playthrough. I've done discovered waaaaay more enemies and ways to fight them and such than I knew about before.

So i bought the game guide the other day, i hate not knowing where every little secret hides. But the art work is fantastic and is well worth buying it. Plus if anyone has any questions i can just look it up!

@odd69: No shame in that, IMO; I'm playing with the guide, too!

I bought this boxing week and it took two weeks to get through it the first time. Not particularily impressed. If I'd tried it first I wouldn't have bought it. Its a game I'll save for sometime when I'm bedridden and feel like wandering around in circles. The end boss is simple to beat. Just worry about getting rid of the arm and the rest is a piece of cake. Took about 5 minutes once I figured that out. I found the game frustrating because every time you go back to an area, its just the same old monsters all over again. And again. And again. A compass with directional on it would have been nice. The graphics are good, but it was more of a movie with a few little places to do something. Its almost a fool proof game. Sneaking through the selkie train doesn't even seem to leave you room to get caught or killed. It just shuffles you back to the side and you keep trying. About the most boring Final Fantasy I've played in a long time. Hope the Zelda game is better.

Oops there's a thread for this already. I've been waiting for this game so long now, and then my preorder is delayed in the mail! Now I'm sick and bored at Saturday night when I could be playing it but no...
