Of all four (I've already got World of Goo), I'm thinking of getting Bit Trip Beat. Nyxquest was OK, but there're better games out there that could use my money.

Like Starkiller I tried 'em all but Goo. Here's some brief impressions in the order I played them.
Nyxquest: Fun but it didn't seem entirely like my kind of game. Although I enjoyed throwing blocks a lot, a bit too much though so I died more than anyone should. I may get it sometime, but it's not a priority.
Bit Trip Beat: Twas fairly fun, but it didn't draw my attention enough, so I'll not get it.
FF: Darklord: Looks nice and well designed. But it's really, really slow. I was bored after the second battle, I played the third hoping that the demo would be over. It wasn't so I ended it myself.
Pokemon Rumble: Fun! I enjoyed it quite a bit, shame the price tag is high, but I think I'll get sometime. Yay for Caterpie
i get pokemon rumble tonight cant wait after this amazing demo
[anomalous[i know spelled wrong] member] so feenie bet you never got lucky in chat [feenie] ya [tbd] green gabe [feenie] yup i almost drowned in the shower afterwards
I noticed the Pokemon Rumble game and demo both take up the same size of data. What happens if you download the demo and then the game?
Found out, you get both the demo and the game on your well... I was think the demo was going to turn into the game because the file size was the same, now I got to take the demo off my Wii
ive tried 3 beat trip beat umm what with all the hype i think it is just the wiiware puzzle version of secret of mana way too much hype for crappy game ffmlaad fun but super slow maybe too slow

I wonder if they're going to continue doing this just for past games or if they'll ever demo new / upcoming games. It'd certainly be more useful that way, though I can understand why they'd like this method: try to get people to buy blindly first, then try to suck in the rest later.
Ha, yeah. I do hope they add in a few new/upcoming releases, but I'll confess that I've got enough interest in the vast back catalogue of WiiWare games I've never played that I won't complain too much if they keep their sights fixed squarely backward.
I'd kill for a demo of Rock N Ball.
EDIT: nm, forgot Pokemon Rumble (a new game) has a demo in NA. So it looks like new games will be getting the treatment. Still looking forward to lots of demos for games I let slip through the cracks though.

well i think the demo's are just a trail (that why the expire if goes good permanent) But Pokemon Rumble is a high profile release and the strat of better wiiware promotion. In the new nintendo power theres a 2 page advertisment for it that tell how to download it from the wiishop channel.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
What I'm wondering, could Wii Owners from the US send a gift to European players? Like if someone send me Pokemon Rumble or World of Goo as a gift, would I receive it working?

It's probably reasonable to conclude that future first-party WiiWare releases will be accompanied by a demo. It'll be interesting to see which third-party gams get the Demo treatment.
