While the dungeons are similar, the enemies become more interesing, there's real boss fights, and the visual style is different.

You'll also find some optional, very difficult challenge dungeons that put some nasty conditions on you, for extra rewards.

The job class also opens up greatly.

Stick with it - you get through the second dungeon and are still not having a good time, the game's probably not for you.

well...I am enjoying it despite many justified complaints (fitting for a modern day Final Fantasy). So far it's just not as good as Pokemon Mystery Dungeon and I'm glad I got it cheap instead of new. It would have to get worse or unfairly difficult in order for me to not beat it though.

But yeah, I'm assuming it gets better. It's an RPG, they usually get better.

The reviews said that this game is very, very difficult. Do you agree with that?

I was interested in picking this game up because it looked cute and interesting. However, I don't like super difficult games.

I tried the first bonus dungeon and got killed constantly.

Which brings up THE problem with this game. You don't have a "restart from beginning of dungeon" option when you die. You die, go to a gameover screen, have the game load for 30 seconds, end up back in town, you enter the dungeon again, load for another 30 seconds and THEN you go back to the dungeon. And for that dungeon in particular, that was so annoying
