Do not get The Conduit. It was a major letdown and it is not worth the $50. The single player sucks, the online is a glitchfest and there is no local multiplayer. A sequel has some potential but this just isn't worth it. Get Call of Duty 3 or Medal of Honor Heroes 2.

Well, it's maybe worth a rent, but no way a worthwhile retail purchase. The single player won't last long and you probably won't be playing it after a week.

Couldn't disagree more. I bought Conduit the day it came out & within 2 weeks of getting fed up with all the bugs in the game (spawning in the wall anyone?) that should have been caught by even the most lackluster game testers, I went back to CoD & have never looked back. But since the OP is asking for a T rated FPS, I say go with Metroid Prime Trilogy.

i think so. it's kind of hard to say whether you should rent or buy it, because while the single player game is very short and could easily be beaten during a rental, the multiplayer is the thing that really makes the game fun and it takes some time to get good at it. the single player game itself doesn't offer much and i never find myself replaying it, but for $25 i think the mulitplayer might be barely enough of a draw to own the game. it's fun enough (when it works) to make me load it up every now and then.
