technically there all even but I play with Samus, Mario, Link, Snake... once you master one of the characters its pretty easy to master all of them because they all have the same control scheme.
It depends on what you mean by favorite. Most fun to play as would be Captain Falcon or Pit,but I would do the best with Ike,Link,or the Pokemon Trainer. I would still kick butt with CF and Pit,but I do better with the others I listed.
