Wich characters of the gaming world do you think are the most famous?

I will say the Mario family ist the most famous of all, Donkey Kong is also famous (idk, it soo much in the mario family like it isn't), Kirby of course, Megaman, Bomberman, Sonic the hedgedog, Samus Aran, Zelda and Link also Wario (mario family or not?) and maybe the pikmins.

Wich ones you think that are the most famous character of the gaming world?

Pac-Man is the most recognizable video game character, no contest. Maybe not the most "Popular," but chances are if you ask a person who Pac-Man is, they'll know.

Pac Man, Pikachu, and Mario. If you showed some random person a picture of any of them, they are almost guarenteed to know who they are. No other character I can think of is like that.

Oh god, how can I forgot Pacman!!!! Yeah Pikachu is also famous!!! Other famous characters are Fox and Falco from the Star Fox series.

Sorry, that is a little jumbles. Let me rephrase that.

Pac-Man may not have many fans, but he is an instantly recognizable character.

@hulklol: Kirby, MegaMan, Bomberman, Samus, Wario, Pikmin, Fox and Falco aren't in the same league as Mario (proven to be more well-known than Mickey Mouse), Pac-Man, and Pikachu. Donkey Kong, I'll give you, and maybe Link (enough people have played the original Legend of Zelda or Ocarina of Time to at least know the name of the game if you showed them a picture). That's about where I'd draw the line of pop culture, though. The rest are famous in gamer-land, but outside of our cozy nerddom, they're no more known than you or me.

CHIP and IDK who the others are

Yeah the most reconizable are probably Pac man, Mario and Sonic. People who dont even play video games know who they are.
