Let's face it, the Wii shop is full of throw away games that you play for a while and then never come back to. But, there are a few that stand out and keep you coming back for more. For me it's Contra Rebirth and Castlevania Rebirth.

What about you? When you're browsing through your WiiWare collection what do you normally come back to for a bit of fun? I'm genuinely interested cos I want more games like that in my collection.

Yeah I was gonna put that as my 3rd choice The only reason I didn't is cos it annoys me that I can't beat the castle stage so have't played it in a while.

I've also beaten Castlevania and Contra many times. But it's fun to play them again.

GRADIUS REBIRTH!

Really? As you can tell, I'm a fan of the Rebirth games. But the for some reason the Gradius one doesn't click with me, maybe the quality isn't there, or maybe R-type is just better. I'm not sure.. Opinions?

It feels too samey compared to the rest of the series, and a major downgrade after Gradius V. Gradius ReBirth was the first and worst of the lot, simply because it didn't really try to do anything interesting or different, outside of little tricks such as stages that change a bit. With that said, I really should get Contra ReBirth at some point. Looks like a lot of fun, even if it is still a downgrade after Contra 4.

Yeah looks like it's time for me to make a start on the Bit. Trip games. I played the Bit. Trip Beat demo last year, but found it kind of crushing. Maybe now I'm ready for it...

Kingbuilder

Cave Story, Bit.trip Runner, and Mega Man 9.

Of all of them I'd definitely recommend Cave Story. I've clocked 200+ hours in it and I still haven't started Curly Brace or Hard Mode. The game has crazy replayability.

Oh yeah, and of all of my Wiiware games it seems the Rebirth are my least played. I beat them once and they no longer have any appeal to me. To each their own, I guess.

Well, I've never broken any of my WiiWare games...

Tetris Party has a lot of replay value. I love the co-op mode. But with Tetris Party Deluxe out, I'm pretty sure you'd want that instead.

I actually couldn't beat the BEAT demo either and didn't like it all that much. I only downloaded it later on after I fell in love with RUNNER. Now BEAT is one of my favorite games.

Olorin

Tomena Sanner, Swords & Soldiers. I also put more than 60 hours into Pokemon Rumble, but I haven't played it since I've gotten every single Pokemon in that game.

Too many to think about right now. Except, of course, for Water Warfare. That springs to mind instantly.

I'm surprised nobody's mentioned the ToMI series yet. Am I the only one who finds it just as fun no matter how much I play it?
