Topic: Do you think Capcom is considering Mega man X9 for Wii ware?

We all know Mega man 9 sold like hotcakes so it seems logical they would follow it up with X9. they Just need to make sure it's made with snes style graphics and none of that 3-D crap from the PS2 games. Keep it simple and traditional. I almost think I prefer the X series over classic. Mainly because of Zero and the overall bad assery of the series. Pretty please Capcom bring back the X we all remember.

It could happen, but I prefer not having a Megaman X9 because it seemed to me that Capcom was just using that series to show what they could do with new hardware.

Yeah they really screwed up with X7 thinking the series should go 3-D. As a fan I tried really hard to like it but it wasn't very much fun. At least X8 tried to be more like the snes games but it still wasn't quite right. That's why I think now is the time to go back to the 16-bit style.

I think Megaman 9 was just a one off game. If they decide to do another retro game, I think it'll be another series that isn't Megaman. Maybe Ghouls 'n' Ghosts.

I think it's possible, but the SNES Mega Man X games need to come to the VC first.

Word out of Capcoms own mouth is that they're inbetween on their feelings on how 9 sold. They're neither excited or horribly disappointed just kind of eh about the sales....with that said, i doubt it and I'm with Bass that they'd do it with another franchise.

If Capcom do pick up the retro reigns again in the same way Konami have, I expect another Megaman game eventually. Just not right away. I would want a Megaman X game to come to the WiiWare though. Hey, if I'm wrong and they actually did another Megaman game next, I'd get it.
