I was check out the upcoming games and I found North Americans had fifty-seven titles to look forward to. However, I've noticed a potential mistake that they made.
They finally put up Chotetsu Brikin'ger (Known as Ironclad) on the North American coming soon list. I thought it was reasons to get, well, excited. Then I realize that the game said "Released in Europe" and I was like "What the heck?" I decided to check it out and I thought Nintendo Life made a big mistake. They said the game was released in Europe when they put in the Japanese release date instead!
@Sean Aaron: Okay, thanks for explaining. Once you get done with the review, one of the admins should take that page down.
Why should they take it down then? Obviously they need to have a game page for Chotetsu Brikin'ger when hosting a review of the Japanese VC version and seeing as the Japanese VC release is the only time Chotetsu Brikin'ger ever came to a Nintendo system so far, they need to have the game page filed under VC instead of the retro area.
There are back-end config issues. Presently there is no slot for Japanese releases which is why it's in Retro rather than VC at the moment. The powers that be are aware of the issue and trying to find a solution. In the meantime just be happy that I'm getting the green light to review some Japanese exclusives that may or may not get released elsewhere!
