why can't I enter a specific dolllar amount? i don't always want 10$ worth of stuff, and the 6 and 8 dollar games leave me with odd remainder amounts...

The odd remainders end up being used. Don't trip. If you play RB2 or GHWT, the odd 200 points comes in handy.

Yeah, the odd points come in handy. However, if it really annoys you, you can buy a specific amount of points on the Wii Shop with a credit card.

This is true, but by sods law i always have 100points less than is required for the game i want, but it isn't too big a deal saving points it isn't like they expire, but it would be nice if they earned interest.

How about Nintendo startes crediting wii point accounts if we win Mario Cart tornaments, or Check Mii Out contests? That could be a way of putting those odd point amounts to use too! Forget achievments! We wii owners would get real games!

I wish that instead of Club Nintendo coins, we got Wii points, there is no way I will buy enough products in a year to even get the smallest prize

you have two years. The cheapest prize is 300 coins. That's ten DS games, six Wii games. And it's actually quite a bit less than that, because you can get more points by completing surveys, registering to buy products before they come out, registering Wii Fit, and buying some Virtual Console and WiiWare titles. If you don't buy at least that much in two years, let alone the backlog you should have of old unregistered games before Club Nintendo was introduced, I really don't see why you would've signed up.
