ZX Spectrum (500 points) Sega CD (900 points) Atari 2600 (200 points) Colecovision/Intellivision (400 points) Game Boy/Color (500/600 points) (Playable on Wii and transferable to DSi) Game Boy Advance (800 points) (Playable on Wii and transferable to DSi)
...did you just lump the Colecovision and Intellivision together?
In addition to those you mentioned, if we're talking computers, the Atari 8-bit computers and the Apple II would be the most interesting ones. For consoles, it would be the 5200 and 7800. Most other big consoles are covered.
Gameboy games are a must I think. I spent most of my early gaming years playing mostly Gameboy games and I am sure I am not alone. Personally I probably have a bigger soft spot for Super Mario Land, Donkey Kong Land, Tetris, Dr Mario and Pokemon over pretty much any other game on any other console I have ever played. Particularly Donkey Kong Land.... oh that music.
Other than that.... DOS games. I didn't really play any other console that hasn't been covered already but DOS games are significant. Obviously if they did do it you would expect the points would vary between 500 and 1000 or something but I doubt it will ever happen. Microsoft would never let it happen!

I think 200 is a bit low for Atari 2600 games and Intellivision or Colecovision titles seem a bit high at 400. Of course if you really like Intellivision you can get Intellivision Lives! for the Gamecube (NA-only, sadly) which I hope to review in the near future.
I cannot recall much in the way of original Colecovision games that weren't based upon outside licenses (Wargames, for example), so I cannot think there'd be much point to that, but I never owned one so I could be wrong. What I saw at friend's houses were arcade ports and sports games for the most part.
I'd say early 8-bit games would be fair at 300 points each, though I'd rather see collections from Atari/Activision et al so we could get cool extras like box art scans, commercials, music and interviews.
As Adam says the 8-bit Atari computers or the 5200 would be more appropriate as standalone VC titles. Ditto for old DOS games (which Microsoft would have nothing to do with).
Since you have gameboy/gameboy advance I'll add: sega gamegear neo geo pocket atari lynx
Yeah, the dsi really needs a vh (virtual handheld)
I love rpgs and platformers the most... racing games are good too! I have a black dsi and a blue 3DS. :D "Sometimes we put up walls, not to keep people out, but rather to see who will take the time to break them down." 3DS friend code: 3695 0029 5257

There were a couple, but half of them were educational crap, and a lot of the others weren't exclusive, so there wouldn't be much point. About half of the non-edutainment stuff were relatively lazy ports of Activision 2600 games, which looked and played more or less the same. I got the Colecovision version of Pitfall, and the biggest difference from the 2600 version is that they added bushes to the background.

You can already play most DOS games on your computer with DOSBox. Even most non-free ones can still be ordered.
I want: Sega 32X Sega Saturn (If the VC can have N64 games, it should be able to have at least some Saturn games.) Nintendo GameBoy (Color), although it's not a huge priority, since I can just play them on my GBA.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.

I've got DOSBOX. I use it to play Classic Doom and Quake.
Sega CD would be nice. If they could just get Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD onto the Virtual Console, I couldn't care less afterward what they release Genesis-wise.
The Saturn would be nice, but it'd probably have to wait til Virtual Console 2.0.

I definitely want the Virtual Handheld with GB, GBC, GBA, and GameGear. Sega CD, 32X, and Saturn on consoles would be cool, too. I'm sick and tired of not seeing Saturn games in particular available on ANY other format. I hear the thing's really hard to emulate, so they just don't bother. I want Sonic's Ultimate Saturn Collection, if VC wouldn't work! SEGA rereleases Genesis games while ignoring everything else (except a smattering of Master System and arcade of late) WAY too much.
My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P
Sega CD Saturn ZX Spectrum/ Amstrad CPC (For PAL regions) 32X (Only for Knuckles Chaotix, Kolibri, and Tempo) Handhelds (GB/C, GBA, Wonderswan, Game Gear, and NGPC would all be great)
