Btw about Angry Birds, Chick Chick Boom came out first. So Angry Birds is similar to the Chick Chick Boom Art Style.

Unforuntately time of release doesn't mean as much in this industry as being the most popular.

The similarities don't bug me though, personally.

Yeah, I remember this! It was fun...I think.

This game looks great multiplayer, but honestly how fun is the single player mode? This really could make or break a purchase for me. Most of my friends and family live a good distance from me right now.

For single player there is a very interesting mode if you think you mastered the AI in the highest diffculty level: It's called Pro Mode. In Pro Mode you play against the AI and each knocked out chick on the AI's side will be replaced by a new one. But your team will only have the starting 5 chicks. The longer you play the better the AI will become. When you lose your last chick the match is over. At the end you will see how many chicks you knocked out. This way you can push your record with eatch match in Pro Mode.

You can play Pro Mode also in coop with a friend in your team against the AI

We believe that chick chick BOOMs strength lies in the Multiplayer part, but that doesn't mean that it isn't fun in single player mode

Thanx for the backup

But regarding the art style i am long enough artist and designer to know that it is just funny comic style, which is existing for decades in any visual sector and is not invented a few months ago on a touch phone

@tons of bits: I really like the look of this game. It seems like it has a lot of potential. I appreciate you coming onto the forums here and sharing information about your forthcoming game. I will probably be getting it. I hope that you will have a release date for us very soon.

I remember the first time I played it, my friend linked it to me and I said Nintendo of Europe? What are you doing on here? (Since we were from the US) and I played it and fell in love with it. It's like a quick version of Worms sort of. Get's really hectic later because your drawing lines to block attacks and tying to connect the dots to get more items. I like the updated weapons on the game (at least from what I remember, I don't remember there being lady bug bombs and poisonous fly traps). I do remember anvils, pianos and safes falling though. I think the elephant was the heaviest? Or maybe I'm crazy and there was no elephant...

Yes, there was an elephant for the heaviest weight, in the WiiWare version it's not the heaviest one though And there were no upgrades on attacks in the flash version. We actually completely redesigned or extended nearly each aspect of the game, which of course was necessary for doing justice to the new platform.

I am looking forward to this game I'm definitely going to buy it.
One question, can you customise the chick's colours? It's not really a large gameplay difference, but in some screenshots I can see grey chicks.

If you watch Jaws backwards, it's a movie about a shark throwing up people untill they open a beach.
-Currently playing:
-Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies
-Street Fighter IV
-NEW PLAY CONTROL! Pikmin 2
-SoulCalibur II

You can choose the yellow or the black chicks. When they lose energy, a yellow chick becomes light yellow and a black chick becomes grey.

I watched both videos and read all I could find on the game's site but I still have a question - are both players playing both offense and defense at the same time or is it turn based like "Worms: Armaggedon" where 1 payer is offense and the other defense and then you switch after a set # of moves or time is up?. (It's a day 1 purchase for me either way, but I don't think my youngest son (a huge W:A fan) can handle offense and defense simultaneously).

Someday we'll find it
The rainbow connection
The lovers, the dreamers and me

The 3 videos are 1 vs. 1.
1 vs. Computer: you habe to attack and defend
1 vs. 1: both have to attack and defend
2 vs. Computer: one player defends and one player attacks
2 vs. 1: the 2 player team has one player who attacks and one player who defends and the third player has to do both
2 vs. 2: each team has one player who attacks and one player who defends
