Lightning fast anime action with a killer soundtrack And I'm pretty sure you can get it brand new for cheap! It's an underrated Niche franchise that's for sure.
Is the non-Plus version worth getting, or are the extra modes/characters a big part of the game? Canadian Walmarts have Guilty Gear Accent Core for $10 which seems pretty solid... but I wasn't sure what the difference is for Plus.
On the bright side, I did pick up Castle of Shikigami III (shmup cheese, but my kind of game) and Marble Saga Kororinpa both for $10, and also No More Heroes 2 for $20. Totally broke now, so Castlevania is pretty much out of the question.
Well if you have Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia then i would recommended since you get exclusive extra content (you can called another form of DLC) for both Ecclesia and Judgement but it's more worthed for Ecclesia. And if you don't well it depends are you devoted to the fighting genre well maybe you "might" like it but if your someone who just want to play Castlevania 2D Platform go check Wii Shop Channel WiiWare section and Look for Castlevania The Adventure Rebirth since it's also for $10 and it's exactly as you wish for (if your into Castlevania Classic 2D Platform not Platform/RPG game).
I rented and enjoyed it. For ten bucks, I say yes, get it! The problem to many gamers is that Castlevannia doesn't follow neither Castlevannia's visuals or Street Figther's fighting game style, it is really a novel experience. It was my first Castlevannia game, so don't ask me about the visuals. I think they are somewhat ridiculous, but not more than most Japanese games. I really liked the controls and I am not talking about the classic controller. They are simple and rely a lot in timing to achieve results. Personally, I find this much more interesting than Street Figther arcane combination of button presses, reason why I don't dig fighters that much. That said, it will depend on your expectations. For ten bucks, you're doing a better deal than I did when I rented it.
