Topic: Broken black plastic

I hope the picture link works, does anyone recognize the small plastic broken piece? It was rattling around inside my wii. It may not be important? Also does anyone know where I could get a replacement gear or the whole driveshaft? The pen is pointing at the crack in the gear. I would buy the part from someone if the had a drive for parts. Thanks

Ok so just found where the broken black piece goes. It's one of the tabs for the door for the gamecube memory cards. It may have fallen into the drive gear and caused it to crack. So that part is solved. Not an important part. And my brothers wii DVD drive is broken and he is getting a replacement drive and giving me his old one. So I should have a new gear as well. Nobody really had a chance to reply to this thread. Maybe it will help someone else in the future.
