On my Wii every game works except for Sonic Adventure 2. When I insert the game and select it, it just goes to a black screen. It doesn't say that it is unable to read the disk or anything like that, it just goes to a black screen. I am almost sure that the disk is fine, because my Wii can recognize that it is a Gamecube game.
@DrazilYls Check your video settings, in the Wii options menu. What are they set to right now? There's either 480i, 576p or 480p. On an HD or UHD TV, the Wii should be set to 480p, provided you've got it connected with component cables or an HDMI adapter. If not, then you can switch between 480i and 576p, to see if that makes a difference.
If those options don't help, then it might be an issue with the internal components, in which case you'd need to send it to Nintendo for repairs.
