I don't think he's talking about Bit Man...or, rather, if he IS talking about Bit Man, I don't know why he wouldn't specify that. But, anyway, it looks like we might be getting another Bit Boy release.

Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, as there IS a decent game at Bit Boy's core. (The name of that game, fyi, is Pac-Man.) If they only fix the camera, avoid the clashing colors, demonstrate moderation when employing dead ends, stop the monsters from moving after you beat a level, vary the game play a bit, give us more interesting levels, stop making necessary collectibles inaccessible if you take the wrong path, make jumping easier, make jumping an action worth performing, give the enemies some actual AI rather than just randomizing whether they'll turn left or right and write some new music (this last one is optional) we could have a pretty good game!

So, make a completely new game that bears little resemblence to the original then?

According to Bernard (? Sorry, can't remember his name) friday when I asked if Bit Man was coming to NA, Japan got BitMan because they didn't get Bitboy or Niki. I was being nice so I didn't say what I wanted to say which was "lucky them" so instead I just said "yeah, but they got Transformers: Headmasters (which we never got on tv)"

Maybe enough of us asked about Bit Man that he realized that a GOOD version of the game they gave us would actually sell.

I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.

Yeah, that's all they gotta do.

...wait, why wasn't any of that in there to begin with?! D:

Preferably.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Well apparently Bit Man fixed the game up pretty well. Reduced dead ends, fixed the camera, added extras. It's a shame they probably won't release it in America though (It probably is barely eeping out enough for the game to get them revenue...BUT I may be standing or sitting incorrectly)

I certainly think BPlus is improving. I think they need some more playtesters and such to help them see what ideas work and what won't.

He's talking about a full sequel rather than Bit.Man!! The only thing he's said to me is rather obliquely that "most of our games contain graphics," so I don't know if this is going to be a text adventure or what - Bit.Boy meets Sakura Wars?

Or perhaps it's something like this:

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Ah, an ASCII game could be very cool actually, I wouldn't be too interested in a text adventure, but I've spent much time with Nethack on UNIX systems and the old Star Trek game on DOS which were both ASCII-based.

That would certainly be an improvement, graphics-wise. I had an easier time telling what those things were supposed to be than I ever did in Niki.
