1GryffinSat 2nd Oct 2021 I'm thinking of buying a Wii to play my GameCube games. A Wii Mini is off the table of course. But for the regular kind, is there a particular model or number I should look for? I guess in the same way you'd always want a GBA SP 101. Gryffin
2Anti-MatterSat 2nd Oct 2021 @Gryffin Wii have 3 different models. RVL-001 = Vertical display, can play Gamecube games RVL-101 = Horizontal display, cannot play Gamecube games since there is no Gamecube slots, cannot play Wii games with Gamecube controller option. RVL-201 = Wii Mini model, No Online functionality, No SD Card slot, same as RVL-101 Get the First model RVL-001 to able play both Wii and Gamecube games + using Gamecube controller for Wii games + using SD card to back up Save data. Difference between 001 and 101 = the Wii logo display on machine. RVL-001 = Wii logo displayed on vertical RVL-101 = Wii logo displayed on horizontal Anti-Matter
