Topic: Any good golf games?

I'm looking for a replacement for Toadstool Tour. I want something Mario or similar.

Tiger10 is THE golf game, but obviously you don't want that (though you could make a character that look's like Mario and just pretend). Sports Resort is the only one I can think of that is cute, shiny and not Tiger.

Why don't you want Tiger btw, just out of interest? It's awesome and stuff!

We Love Golf! It is made by Camelot, just like Toadstool Tour. It also is VERY similar, they reused a lot of ideas from TT.

The controls take a little work, but once you get it, it controls nicely. (Start your backswing to set your power and then swing forward once the meter gets to the bottom.)

There are no Nintendo characters, but you can unlock costumes of Capcom characters. You can play as Miis too.

The only issue is that the online community is not very active. Somedays, you'll find a match, other days, you won't. Also the comments/taunts are back, even online! (Online prevents spamming, though.)

Ergh... Motion+ anyone? Ahem.

I'm out of ideas. I was about to stright-out suggest Tiger Wood PGA Tour '10, but if you want an golf experience similar to Mario or something, you'll have to get an PS3, and that's not an Nintendo console, so if you only own a Wii, you're screwed. Or you can take We Love Golf!.

Seriously. How had no one mentioned this game before the 8th post? Get Mario Golf. It is the best golf game ever.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention I wanted an interactive golf game like Wii Sports. I'm looking into getting WSR, though.

What do you mean by interactive? I don't quite understand how Wii Sports is interactive. Fill me in! If you want more Wii Sports, Resorts the only way to go.

Also, if you aren't into We Love Golf, then go download Mario Golf 64 from the Shop. Once you get over the dated visuals, the minigolf on Mario Golf 64 is sweet!

Side note: Give We Love Golf a chance, it took me a bit, but it has become my second favorite golf game. (Toadstool Tour is #1.)

WSR if you want a fun golf game although there isn't that many courses to play on. I actually can't believe that Nintendo haven't started to make a Wii Mario Golf with WM+ controls ,surely it's a no brainer.I'd buy it on day one.

I can't believe people are suggested pap like Hot Shots and We Love Golf. I've played them both and they are HORRIBLE compared to Tiger10. I'm with the monkey, where is Nintendo's Tiger beater, hope we see it soon.
