@Ramadus:Thanks for the info on the shovel. I usually like to find secrets on my own, but i do appreciate the thought though. I probably wont do it till an animal tells me though. My fiance found a secret and i haven't come across it yet. i told her not to tell. Wanted to find it on my own. Thing is, she couldn't do it next time she tried. Be cool if i stumble across it eventually.
Sorry about that. There is so many little secrets in the game, I actually found out after buying the strategy guide. The grass is the worst part though because it wears down easy...that's why I won't run anymore in the game.

For those who want foreign fruit without leaving town, send a bunch of letters to the animals with fruit as a present. The letter should read "friend friend friend." I read about it at Animal Crossing Community and it worked. By all means, visit others all you want, but I just wanted to make sure everyone knew that isn't the only way to get the fruit.
