All I'm saying is that Nintendo could easily remedy this issue with a little good old fashioned dolla dolla.
It's not really a question of asking Netflix and Youtube, because what's their incentive for changing their apps on Wii U? If you complain about Nintendo, you're complaining as a potential Wii U consumer, and therefore a source of that cheddar for Nintendo themselves. It is in Nintendo's best interest to help make the apps which exist on their system as user friendly as possible...
Therefore, Nintendo is being lazy, because they will not throw some money at youtube and netflix, in order to fix an issue many users take issue with.
I'm not listening to you because you haven't convinced me that you know what you're talking about. You've provided no evidence convincing or otherwise to support your assertion that it's not in any way up to Nintendo.
My questions still stand, because as I mentioned before, you haven't provided me with any evidence to substantiate your claims.

Yes. Nintendo should throw money to fix a free app that everyone will buy a Wii U for. I disagree of course.

Of course you disagree, but I don't care. What I do care about is having a more user friendly and polished experience on a system that desperately needs polish and support.
As the title of the thread alludes to, this is not merely one or two issues, but rather a host of things that could potentially make the Wii U more marketable, as well as keep people using their Wii U's. This = money in Nintendo's pocket, if you didn't know that.

How does fixing two apps, that maybe not all Wiiu owner or new owner's will use bring money in Nintendo's pocket?I really want to know.
The Harder the conflict, the more glorious the triumph. When the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
I agree. I only mentioned small stuff, because small stuff inevitably adds up.
The devil's in the details.
Fixing two apps should only be the beginning. Nintendo should be doing any number of things to make their Wii U experience a better one. Third party support is lacking for some reason, and maybe that is due to Nintendo's inability to market their Wii U properly.

Fixing two apps, getting third party support and marketing there system better?Isn't that too late for that?Next year were getting news on a new console, why should they put time and effort on fixing those things for the Wiiu? And third party didn't leave cause Nintendo didn't market the system, they left cause all there games sold like crap.
Yeah, so you actually answered my question. Thank you. Nintendo has practically moved on from the Wii U at this point.
Oh and their games only sold like crap because only Nintendo faithful even knew about Wii U. If nintendo marketed their system properly, more people would know what a Wii U is.
I know at least four gamers that when I say Wii U, they respond with "what's that?" Even though they're going to be playing their PS4 tonight...

3rd party support sucks because the Wii U is difficult to program for, less powerful than the competition, low selling, and doesn't have advertising for 3rd party games. That last one is important. If 3rd parties want a game on Wii U, they have to tell people themselves. Nintendo does a terrible job of helping them out.
There are other issues such as the failure to utilize features like online multiplayer or voice chat. The apps are very very small, almost insignificant, issues.

I know at least four gamers who knew what the Wii U was. Does that mean it is successful?

No, but I would be willing to bet that there are more people that know about the PS4 than there are about the Wii U, and that has a lot to do with marketing.
As an Australian who just suddenly realised the huge variation in how good various netflix apps are? The Wii U isn't the only thing with a shaky support from Netflix/Youtube. My Sony TV is about a year too old for it to have Netflix built in and the Youtube app it has had since I got it is being disabled this month. I also have a Samsung Blu-Ray player but for some reason it's too old to get the NEW netflix app and instead has the old one that lacks profiles. I have a WDTV which has been great on my other TV so I went to the shops to get another. Brought the thing home only to find out that they'd pulled Netflix from their "new" 2014 models entirely. I ended up returning it and getting a Chromecast.
So really, you can whine on the forums about this if you want. That's your choice. However if I was you i'd either just put up with this, because it's not a huge deal, or just go out and get a Chromecast. They're cheap and available everywhere and they work with Netflix wonderfully. Hell, I think the thing was co-developed by Netflix. Complaining on a forum does nothing to solve this AND it just annoys everyone.
