Topic: Wii U Virtual Console Question

So I have read that if I set my Wii U in Wii mode I can play classic Wii & Virtual Console games with the Wii game pad but not the Wii U pad..I never had a Wii Or downloaded any VC games..so my question is..if I go buy a Wii pad & set the Wii U to Wii mode will the Virtual Console be there..when I check the eShop with Wii U pad it isn't there & Nintendo says it isn't available yet..I just wanted to know if you have the Wii U on Wii mode if it becomes available & if you can download classic titles on the Wii U through Wii mode.

Yes, the wii shop channel is available through wii mode, if you get a wii remote.

you can play wii vc stuff through wii mode with the wiimote and any existing accessories that came with the wii during its lifespan
