i have the Wii classic controller pro and i'm thinking of getting the Wii U pro controller for my Wii U. i want to get it for super mario 3d world because i don't like using gamepad in that game because of the mirrored image. i tried using the wii classic controller pro but the analogue sticks feel awkward, would i get used to it? or will the Wii U pro controller be better? has the Wii classic controller pro got rumble? the Wii U pro controller is abit pricey but should i get it?

The Wii U Pro Controller's analog sticks are the same as the GamePad's analog sticks. Overall, I'd say it's super comfortable to use. I've heard it's more comfortable to use than the classic controller pro, though I can't say for myself since I never had one. It's worth the purchase, especially considering that you 80 hours of battery life per charge.

Pro controller >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> classic controller pro

For several reasons:
-Pro controller does not need to plug into a Wii Remote
-Has a LONG battery life (I think I've only charged it three times, unlike the Gamepad which I have to charge like twice a day)
-The analog sticks are smoother, have a circular border, and are clickable
-The analog sticks are in a better position (that's subjective, but once you get used to the "new" positioning of them, it's hard to go back)
-The triggers are more ergonomic, and the controller as a whole feels nicer in your hands
-The face buttons are closer together
-It has rumble
-Has more support on current Wii U games than the CCP

The only real advantages of the classic control pro is that you can use it with the original Wii, and it's cheaper.

I have a question. Are Wii U Pad Pros region locked, like the Gamepad?

God first.

The Pro Controller is a lot better than the Classic Controller Pro so it would be money well spent. I don't think you can 100% 3D World without the Gamepad though.

Four more months until Bayonetta 2.

Classic Controller Pro is so much better. Better buttons positions, better grip, better overall design, cheaper, and better supported than Pro Controller, also works for many Wii games and Virtual Console games. Tethering it to a Wiimote is a slight minus, but the Classic Controller Pro is still better than playing with the Wii U version.

Like others have said, thE the Wii U pro controller has clickable analog sticks which is, IMO, nicer than the classic pro controller since it doesn't. For Mario though, I don't think having clickable analog sticks matters though. FPS mostly benefit from having that. If your into that type of game then yes I would highly recommend getting the Wii U pro controller since it will function well with both types of game play.

I don't believe so. The CC and CCP weren't region locked, so I doubt the Wii U Pro Controller is region locked as well. That, and I have a friend that imported a Super Nintendo-esque Pro Controller from Australia, and it works fine here in NA.

How are the classic or pro controller any better than the gamecube wavebird controllers? Other than battery life?
