This is a steal, its the basic version so you'll need a HDD if you want to go digital. The only thing you'll miss out on is the premium cash back deal on digital games since that's exclusive to the 32GB model.
I finally bit and grabbed one this morning. A lot of places seem to be getting rid of it this week. I came really close to picking up a Zelda bundle for £150 at HMV at the start of the week but held off because I didn't want the gamepad with all that stuff on it. The basic is preferable for me. I'm gonna need an external HD anyway so didn't really want to pay extra for built in storage I wouldn't use.

Ladies and gentlemen, hell has officially froze over.
Just got an email to say my order has been cancelled as they're out of stock Genuinely disappointed. Might keep looking for a non-Zelda bundle at local HMVs.

I've yet to see anyone who leaped on this deal and didn't receive a cancellation email... Seems they either have major database issues with stock or are attempting to sweep a mis-pricing under the rug. Unfortunate, at the very least, but it drives me crazy when online retailers fudge up so blatantly and make amends at the consumer's expense. Physical retailers do it all the time and there is no recourse for them to erase those mistakes.
Feel for ya, man. I'd be psyched to stumble onto this deal. Only thing worse than having a sweet hardware deal unceremoniously canceled is receiving a bunk unit.
Sounds like a third-party supplier goofed this listing and John Lewis is attempting to save face. I've heard of a few complainers making a bit of hay through customer service... So if you feel like playing that game you may come out with a small refund or discount.

The one in my city has either the NSMB+NSLU one or Nintendo Land all at £199.99 (Saw it about 5 hours ago).

Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.

The only times misprices seem to be honoured online is when it is for digital content. (Whereas in stores they nearly always honour it - only exception I can think of is Phones4U who are utter scumbags when it comes to that (Even after wasting 30 mins)).

And if I bought the item and the order was canceled, that's when I get colorful.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
