Someone already released drivers to allow the GCN adaptor to be used with Windows.
here's the page about it.
It appears to work thou I haven't tried any games yet.

Was the GCN adaptor meant to do that?It seems OFF.

What seems off?

It's just a USB adapter. The moment it was announced, everyone expected this to happen within days. I'm surprised that it took this long.

so this could potentially lead the way to people playing four player Smash with Cube controllers on the PC..

The drivers are already in Windows. (Nintendo could have just let it work without messing around).

Working out how to initialise it is the only problem.

You still need drivers for it, and someone still needs to create those.

Thanks, but why tell me that when obviously I'm aware of it?

According to the first post, this has already happened. That's why this topic exists.

Excellent. I always wanted to use a gcn controller for playing games on PC.

There is no way I am going to use a driver like that (Especially when the Mayflash one exists and doesn't need it).

I Looked at the mayflash's site & it look a bit like your typical cheap chinese 3rd party quality stuff & with Nintendo's own adaptor at least it has reasonable build quality.

I rather I use something that lasts than something questionable.
