Topic: What would you like to see on the Wii U?

Oh boy ..where do I start :/ ?? lol

-Super Mario 64 sequel (at least a game in the style of SM64, doesn't need to be a true sequel, one that plays and feels like it, such as the moves, tight controls, and overall gameplay mechanics); true open, 3D Mario game with 2-player, asymmetrical co-op (Mario and Luigi respectfully --> TV player + GamePad player simultaneous asymmetrical play), which would open up to whole new possibilities of local co-operative, as well as competitive, play; they could add some challenges like 'race to collect the Stars/coins'...etc
>adding to this point, they could keep it with more characters, such as the way it was for SM64DS, with Yoshi and Wario, but keep it solely two-player co-op, since two different screens are required ..what I mean by this, is make it that you can switch between the characters accordingly, kinda like in GTA V
> basically, a more in-depth, immersive and story-orientated 3D co-op multiplayer Mario game (no flag poles, timers, questions-block-galore, and all those great 2D Mario elements)

-same goes for a 3D Donkey Kong game; style of DK64, but with improvements over the frustrating 'mistakes' from that game, which I'm sure the devs have learned from

-I could say the same for Banjo and Conker, so I guess I'm a sucker for those kinds of open-world, collectathon games Conker would perfectly appeal to a mature audience however

-Luigi's Mansion for Wii U; no ports, remakes, anything of that sort, just a true, new Luigi's Mansion game in full HD 8)

-we need a deviation of the New Super Mario Bros. series, at least for one or two titles; not taking anything away from NSMB, as they are very creative (someone here mentiond "not creative", but I disagree with that term), but they play it safe and very true to tradition ahem SMB, so therefore we need some Mario World inspired Mario titles, or Mario Land: 6 Golden Coins inspired
>I would love to see them play around with different visuals, such as how some of the levels in NSMB U looked like a van Gogh painting, but the characters and the rest of the game had that generic, shiny look (which is well polished and appealing, but it's time for some change), so they could try different art styles and visual direction all within one game, similar to Shadow Play Alley for SM3DW, have some levels be an oil painting, another level silhouettes...etc.

-a Yoshi's Story styled game, but I guess Yarn Yoshi counts as that, so I'm all set there

-I wouldn't mind seeing the likes of GTA on the Wii U

-Super Mario Sunshine sequel ..well, I would actually prefer it on the 3DS, what with all the water-spraying and sparkly visuals (would be fitting), but I guess we'd need to wait for the next Nintendo handheld iteration with two circle pads to come ..unless they cleverly work around that like they did for Dark Moon

-a good ol', classic Wario game eventually down the road (they should also remaster Virtual Boy's Wario Land for the 3DS, respectively)

-I would like to, as I'm expecting, to see some N64 and GameCube titles to come to the VC sometime soon, have some simple HD upgrades as well for some of the more 'main' titles
>what I don't want, is the GameBoy Advance VC on the Wii U; something like that strictly belongs on a handheld imo (unless it comes for both 3DS and Wii U, in that case w/e ..I want it on the 3DS anyway, so yea)

-Star Fox in style of Star Fox 64

-I wouldn't mind a seeing a new IP (if pulled off correctly and marketed to the point of guaranteed popularity to ensure sustainability), one that truly
>also, if Nintendo could make an amazing 1st party arcade racer, maybe with crisp, cel-shaded visuals, and and awesome, pumping soundtrack, then it could surely prove to be able to compete with Gran Turismo and the likes; something Miyamoto has brilliantly done with Pikmin, a genre taken from the more mature and darker games seen on PCs and other platforms, such as Diablo and Starcraft, and made it 'Nintendo-like' ..ahh, I miss those 90's arcade racers

-speaking of racing games, I wouldn't mind me some Diddy Kong Racing U
>now, we already have Mario Kart, and it would be great if we see some of the DKR elements in a MK game, but then again, it would REALLY have to be pulled off correctly if they were to add a more immersive, story-based kart racer to the MK series; a series true to its foundation, releasing extremely fun and accessible games for everyone to enjoy, so Mario Kart would have a lot to lose if they attempted something like that, and I certainly am satisfied with the racing game Mario Kart has come to be and remained all these years
>so either an optional story campaign for a Mario Kart game sometime down the road (when they run out of ideas..I mean, anti-gravity ..what's next?? lol), or a brand new Diddy Kong Racing rebirth in HD 8-D !!

-last but not least, Zelda U to be what they have made it out it will be; a massive, open, and expansive new Zelda experience, with more free-roaming and general freedom than previous Zeldas (Between Worlds is going in the right direction with this, but on a clearly more miniature, accessible and to-go scale), as well as a lot less, to none, hand-holding ..although partner/sidekick still allowed
>this is more of an expectation rather than a wish, as they have already declared a lot of these aspects to be present in the next console Zelda, so I can't help but raise my hype level
>one thing I would wish to see in Zelda U, however, is that it utilizes a lot of past-game mechanics, such as sailing, seen in Wind Waker, and soaring on a Lofwing, as well as riding Epona ..and no, not a tiny, little section of the game, like in SS with the desert ocean, but I mean where you have like half the WW islands to visit for example
>another thing I'm hoping for, is the choice between motion controls and traditional controls, I know that this is a lot of work for devs, but it is the only way to appease everyone, and I'm a fan of the motion controls introduced in SS, therefore I would love for these to be expanded on and polished up; more directions (not just standard 8 direction), and more precision

-NO Majora's Mask for Wii U like people wish, rather on the 3DS (for logical reasons)!
