Throughout the years that you have been a gamer you have owned many types of gaming devices. Handheld, mobile, console, or computer devices are some that you might have or still own. If you could pick just one of the many that you have owned, which would you pick and why? The games? The console it self? the timing of release? The memories?

PS3, so many great games. Best console I've ever played. The honor might go to the PS4 one day though. It's already moving in the right detection with Second Son.
The GameCube. Back then I never had to worry about what controller Nintendo would allow me to use for their games. It was a simpler time when their consoles had one controller option which you knew was going to work. Now whenever a Nintendo first-party title comes out I have to hope to high heavens that the game will support the Pro Controller.
My game library ranges from Mario Kart to Call of Duty to Tales of Xillia to Diablo 3 to Forza. To me gaming is about having fun - not blindly supporting only one company while thumbing your nose at "the evil other systems."
Probably my N64, as it was the first console I ever bought on release date and I have a ton of great memories from lugging it around to my friend's houses on weekends and playing Goldeneye, Mario Kart and hundreds of hours worth of wrestling games.

Yeah. I wish only 1 controller was supported for each game.

Well, as for hardware I personally own, it'll have to go to the 3DS. Hardware that's shared, the SNES.
Formally called brewsky before becoming the lovable, adorable Yoshi.
Now playing:
Final Fantasy XIV (PC) | The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Switch) | Celeste (Switch)
Gamecube. I still love that little black box. My original still works. Best controller ever. It's home of my favourite Zelda title (Wind Waker) and my favourite Mario Kart and Smash Bros. I also agree with @Diddy_Kong. Back when you only had ONE controller type for a Nintendo system.
PS3 is probably a close second. I really love that system too. I think part of it has to do with the PS3 being the first console I ever bought with my own money. I was 15 when I bought it. I remember the first time I played Uncharted, it blew me away! Visually and narratively. I remember playing Uncharted 2 the night before my history exam instead of studying. Then I remember when Uncharted 3 was coming out, I had a calender in my locker and I was counting the days on it because I had put the collector's edition on preorder and everything. I think I have more memorable memories with the PS3 just because I was older when I got it and high school was a happier time in my life as well. I was friends with everyone, i did really well in school and I went to parties and whatnot. Whereas when I was in elementary school with the Gamecube, I didn't have a lot of friends, I got bullied and I did poorly in school. What would you rather remember, really?
Gameboy Color, all of the content of the GameBoy and some with a better screen and half the battery usage. Donkey Kong Land, Pokemon all the way through to Crystal, Mario Tennis, Tetris, Dr Mario, Super Mario Land, Wario Land. Plus great games I missed out on like Link's Awakening and Kirby.
I'd argue that the DS Lite is the nicest piece of hardware but I don't think the DS' library is quite as memorable.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
