Pokémon was never a system seller outside the handhelds. but a new Pokemon Snap would be the best Pokémon spin-off since, well, Pokémon Snap!

That's because the Pokemon games on home consoles have always been spin offs and are generally poor, even the Ranger & Dungeon games on the handhelds do well but are no where near the numbers of the main entries, a proper game even without new Pokemon in it would be a big push for the system.

Pokemon HD needs to happen for Wii U. Its a shame we aren't getting it (if it existed) before E3. Like imagine if PK HD came out before DK: U or after... that would help with the Wii U's small drought.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!

I've said it once and I'll say it again, they should make a Pokemon crossover with Tecmo Koei and have it be VERY similar to Monster Rancher. For those of you who have played that series, you'd know why this would work so well. It's basically a stadium fighting game, but you have a ranch where you raise and train your monster. You also go out and explore ruins, forests, stuff like that. It would be PERFECT for a HD console Pokemon game. It'd scratch my itch for Monster Hunter as well seeing as that series has been flat since the Playstation unfortunately. I mean.. come on, Tecmo Koei has done a decent Pokemon game already, I'd trust them with another one.

Pokemon Z is a Wii u game. Another possibility. Pokemon red and blue remakes for Wii U and saving the 3rd gen remakes for 3ds can work too.

Uhm... as far as I know there's only 3 first person shooters for Wii U: CoD:BO, CoD:G and 007 Legends.

it's already infinite times more than FPS on the 3DS so far(unless there was one released and I don't know)
in my opinion 3DS needs FPS and WiiU needs RPGs + any good game it can get.

A new Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles would be nice. A focus on local multiplayer like the GameCube game would make sense on the Wii U, but I'd take pretty much anything Square would throw at us. A Kingdom Hearts could have decent success with the console's audience, too. Not that any of it would happen without Iwata writing a meaty cheque. At this point the only third-party support Wii U will get is the one Nintendo's has to pay for.

Even I'm desparate for a Wii U FPS. I like to have at least one FPS per console, and I don't like Call of Duty, and I'd rather continue staying away from 007...

Lacking JRPGs during this generation? Don't worry, I got the solution just for you with one easy step!

Step 1: Buy a PS4, Xbox One, Vita, or 3DS (or all four) for JRPG goodness!

You're welcome!

The Xbone is even worse for JRPG than the Wii U?

@GuSilverFlame Oh, I agree. Of course we're getting Moon Chronicles, so that's nice. But I didn't mention 3DS because this thread is about Wii U.

@CanisWolfred Do you not like CoD because that's the cool thing to hate on these days? And staying clear from 007 should be easy since the developer, Eurocom, is pretty much done for. However, I would like a good FPS that's not CoD or 007, too.

@DudeSean the WiiU lacks most genres when you look at it.... maybe only platformers are in a good ammount on the WiiU...

Nope. I don't like them because I'm burnt out. I've played through every entry from the very first one to Modern Warfare 3. I just don't care anymore.

It has bother Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts 3 coming to it. I wouldn't say it's worse right now.

I'd like to see a new FPS on the Wii U, but it just better not be in a modern day setting based off of most recent real life affairs. That is so old and worn out it's not even funny. I'd like one in the vein of Perfect Dark or even a more fast paced medieval FPS obviously it wouldn't have guns, but it could be done with magic and bows/arrows, hand to hand combat. Yeah, it sounds similar to Skyrim, but no.. I mean fast paced, like actual FPS's for the most part. The only thing I expect though as far as FPS goes is a new Metroid Prime.. and possibly whatever Miyamoto is working on.

Which are multiplatform and not out yet with not a lot else is coming out on it either, that's like saying you should get the Wii U for FPS as it's got 2 Call Of Duty games on it. At least Wii U has 2 high profile exclusives coming.

@GuSilverFlame That's true, but FPS are one of my favorite genres, so that's what I want.

@CanisWolfred Ah, I see. I've played all of the ones on Nintendo consoles, but I like the newer ones better.
