I know what you mean. Wonderful 101 was the only Launch period game I was interested in, especially once Rayman Legends got delayed and went multiconsole. I'll probably get some other games I'll get once I get a Wii U, but W101 is definitely up near the top of my list, and certainly one of the first I'll play,
I played this at the SXSW Gaming Expo, and I can safely say it's awesome.
I liked Pikmin 3 a bit better, though.
Both were time-limited.
Need some details please
Ok. You can swipe different shapes on the touch-screen to switch between different formations that the heroes you've collected can change into; a gun for long distance, a fist for up close, and a sword. You can use "battery power" to use these attacks, but once you run out of battery, you must wait for it to charge, and use a low-powered attack until the battery is fully charged again. You also use the touch screen to circle nearby citizens, and have them join you. There are buildings that you enter, and a 3D section appears only on the GamePad and the TV says "look at the GamePad", and you have to solve a puzzle to unlock the other side to get through, then the action returns to the TV.
There was a time-limit, and once it is up, you go to a boss battle against some giant robot. However, the boss was also time-limited. The demo ended when the time limit for the boss was up.
You can die, but there were no lives, so you can just get up again right where you left off.

im glad i looked in here.... that game looks amazing and i think i'll reserve it at gamestop this week
i think its awesome how platinum is doing something completely different from what they usually do and the fact that they are supporting the wiiu so much
Nintendo Network : Popcorn
3ds FC: 2621-2651-7547
Animal Crossing New Leaf Fruit: Pear
I sure hope so. This was reason #2 to buy a Wii U for me. I've always like Platinum and I hope this one is going to be succesful.
I haven't played it ye though.
HOw are the controls? One has to draw things to change shap, right? Does it work?
@Retro, it was originally revealed as being a part of the launch window (like Pikmin 3)
I'm just hoping / assuming that both this game, along with Game & Wario will be released sometime in April. Since they are both featured in the "Coming Soon" section of the eShop; alongside both Toki Tori and Kirby's Adventure- both confirmed April releases.
