Hi everyone hope your all well. So anyway i downloaded the demo of The Cave the other night and thought it was pretty good for the money so today i go to purchase the full game ( by clicking the link on the Wii U menu screen when you first open the demo....view full purchase details etc. ) I then add funds and procede to download thinking it will be another 100-200MB to 'unlock' the full game (ala ps3) but no! It makes you download another 1374MB ! What the..??!! Why put a single level out on demo at nearly a GIG only to have to download even more for the ''full'' game? Doesnt make sense this. On my ps3 if i get a demo i only have to unlock the game by paying. Weird. Now il delete a 1gig nearly demo? Does this make sense at all? Or is it another ninty quirk?
Nintendo didn't set up any sort of standardized system for developers to only have part of the game download for a demo, so it's likely developers only can distribute demos as separate files. It's a minor annoyance but they likely are trying to make it easier for indie developers to create games and/or demos.
Also, I think this probably belongs in the Wii U eShop forum.

Peace!
Downloading a demo does not download the whole game on the eShop, it's a separate piece of software.
