Topic: Super Smash Bros. for Wii U - OT

I keep hearing people say that Roy can't be in because there's already a Roy in the game, but this honestly makes no sense to me. >w< Why would alt skin Roy stop separate character Roy from being playable? I think a much better reason to keep him out is because we already have a Marth clone, and we'd really not like another.

Am I the only one that thinks this guy could be an interesting DLC?

Good point. They could probably just have the announcer say Roy's name differently to help differentiate him from Roy Koopa. I think he still has a chance, mainly because he probably wouldn't take much work due to him being a Marth clone, and Dr. Mario, Lucina, and Dark Pit were only added because they'd be easy to program due to them being clones, which is why I also think that Pichu and even Dr. Luigi have a chance. I feel like Captain Falcon is lonely lol and clones don't bother me, but I don't know why Ganondorf doesn't have sword in his original moveset.

There was always a color of him for CF, he is basically the same person but maybe Black Shadow could be interesting.

Probably won't be a DLC for a F-Zero character because series is basically dead, didn't get the chance to try out the series.

They should have a unicorn as a playable character in smash

Is it possibly a good idea to suggest to a nintendolife admin a nintendolife tournament? I mean imagine how big the tournament will be, and we can prove who's the best of all nintendolife... would be fun if you think of it lol (I can change topics very abruptly if you ask me)

I'd picture black shadown having Ganondorf s moveset.

I think Pico would be suited well for Smash. The movie you get for winning as him on a cup in Master difficulty comes to mind. By the way I can't seem to ever make the embedding work so I'll just post a link.

Note that there's probably many characters suitable other than Captain Falcon, Samurai Goroh, Pico and Black Shadow though I prefer to watch those ending movies for the first time by unlocking them ingame (it feels very rewarding especially given how difficult F-Zero GX is).

I think Black Shadow makes sense as a new F-Zero character, and as a clone of Falcon. He'd make more sense with Ganondorf's moveset than Ganondorf does. Unfortunately, if they do give Ganondorf his own moveset and then a new character his old one, the new character would more than likely be Hades (for Smash 5). I'd rather see Hades with an original moveset, mostly because he's one of my favorite Nintendo villains.

@IceClimbers But Hades is even bigger than Ridley, surely that would mean he's rather unlikely to appear in Smash as a playable character.

Yeah, I really wanted hades to be playable, and as a god he most likely has the power to shrink himself.

I'd rather have 'Porky Means Business'. Or better yet, have Giygas himself in the game. Maybe make a Cave of the Past stage and make him a stage boss.

I hope so. I would love for that track to be in the game, as well as the Hippie theme.
