@Ecto-1 I do too! It's almost reminiscent of Mario's design in pre-Gamecube artwork.

Please, please, please introduce some new settings in this game, Nintendo. Yes I know, we have rolling round hills now (which technically we had in NSMBWii, but yeah). The Mario franchise desperately needs some new locations.

@znerd I wouldn't say that 3D land is a rushed game, its fair except that I wish the levels had more variety.

As for 3D world, I'm also excited for that game too but since I just played 3D land recently, I'll get it next year or so.

yeah I agree. They even did the white background thing for Bowser's Inside story and Dream team!

REALLY? You go through the same levels too many times when if the game was Galaxy you would have a LOT less "levels" as all of those duplicates would just be replaced with different modes for the same level. It is a horribly half arsed game. And to think Josh Burner complained about Super Mario Galaxy 2 for being copy pasted. SM3DL is literally copy paste bull crap.

It's a fez. I wear a fez now. Fezes are cool, just like bowties.

I really like the box art of SM3DW. Just looking at the box art is getting me hyped for this game. Last time that happened was during nessnes days

By the way, does anyone know if the game is compatible with the pro controller? Apologies if this has been covered before.

I'm the only one getting a Mario Party vibe from the Box Art?

@GTWarrior77 Yes, this game will support Pro Controller!

@MrWalkieTalkie - Thanks, that's good news indeed. I was hoping for a more traditional control scheme with this one.

Ya, the boxart looks like some of the best ever, IMO.
I can see the little kiddies not being able to take their eyes off of that boxart at the supermarket.

It's nice to hear Pro controllers will be supported. The d-pad on the Wii remotes might not be a preferred option to many. I'll probably play with the Pro, but the simplicity of the Wii remote is appealing, too.

Lots of people have Wii remotes, so it should get everyone playing in no time.

Can you play through the whole game in single player with the Pro Controller only? Both Pikmin 3 and Wonderful 101 force me to switch over to the GamePad in some spots.

Probably. This game looks like the GamePad will be used similarly as the Boost Mode in New Super Mario Bros. U.
They just figure you'll play games using the GamePad if you want a Pro controller, because they're basically the same, besides the GamePad having the touchscreen, NFC, 9-axis, camera, and sensor bar.

The box art is kinda meh. Now the DKCR:TF box art is pretty awesome!
