I pre-ordered the special edition with the squid amiibo, and pre-ordered both Inklings.
The Inkling amiibo especially look very nice.

Well if you are buying Day 1 then Pre-Load won't make a difference. From what you said before I assumed you were buying Day 1, I guess my bad on that part. If you are waiting for a deal you might be waiting a long time. Most Nintendo IPs don't get sales, the last one I can remember is Smash Sales.

Preload it is. I'm not getting any benefit from delaying the purchase anyway.

I don't know. It doesn't really tell much about the game. I also like to see gameplay in my commercials.

Actually, cringworthy would be that Wii music e3 demo playing the super Mario bros theme.

Seriously, is there that much of a difference between the marketing team in Japan and the marketing team in the states? I honestly think the Japanese one was awesome, god, that one man.

But even though they have seen this commercial, read the article on here about how Splatoon is great for children, know that the devs avoided using red ink because it looked like blood and cancelled voice chat because "swear words", people on here will still argue that Splatoon is not aimed at kids.

Nintendo is really trying to push Splatoon it seems.

I mean it's their only game until the fall isn't it? At least here in the U.S. Of course they'll advertise it. They don't have much else to push people towards at the moment

The testfire completely sold me. Put my full preorder in today. Cannot wait to get down on some Splatoon. BTW put me in camp no voice chat. Yeah I know some people really wanted it, but you guys have like every other mp game ever, let us have this one lol.

Commercials seem fine and great fun. Come on guys, this is not supposed to be hipster or cool it's a Nintendo game about squids.

Wait.. bychance is another splatoon demo out or something? There's some guy on twitch playing splatoon online (TheAttack). I would've assumed this was another testfire.. but he's the only guy streaming it, and there are quite a few players online he's playing with..

Am I missing another testfire or something? I'm not exactly keeping up with the news
