@shani: Thanks dude, that means a lot to me. I'm sure I'll get there one day but I think the rollers just don't fare well in certain stages and that's where I fail at the most. I was on like a 10-losing streak today in Tower Control and fell back to a B-.
@Nicolai: Did I run into you in Ranked earlier? Think it was RM Arowana Mall. I was ACK!, went 7-2 where we got KOed in some 45 seconds... The enemy RM carrier ran right past our team while I was respawning and the splat bomb I threw immediately after spawning blew up on the totem a split second after he dunked it. Brutal loss.
Ethierway, sent you a friend request along with my Team Majora cohorts. Doesn't look like we'll get enough players for the charger tournament though...
@ACK: I played so many games today, some without really paying attention; but yes, I was playing ranked all day. I wasn't really paying attention to my rank (because honestly, charger practice is way easier in A+ than it is in S). I don't remember where I ended up, but I think I'm somewhere on the very low end of A+.

Sweet! My weapon only got mostly buffs, besides the burst bombs. I love my Slosher! It's sad how burst bombs take more ink, meaning it's probably impossible to throw 4 in a row, (haven't tested it yet) but I like the better damage and radius. I think it's a very fair trade-off.
@Platina: That's really interesting. Not everything is a flatout nerf or buff, so it's taking me a while to get my head around it. There seems to be more of an emphasis to get people to fully charge their weapons, which I suppose it fair enough. And the weapon specific Special gauge reductions are interesting too.
I'm not sure if the Point Sensor changes count as a nerf or a buff... 12 seconds seemed quite generous before, but then Cold-Blooded really neutralised it. It only gives you an extra 1.5 secs on CB users, but that might be just enough to make the splat.
Oh, and yeah, Burst Bombs seem have been completely turned on their head. Must be an interesting time to be an E-Litre user...
Looks like they are encouraging fully charged shots more with some weapons like the splat chargers, 3K and Hydra.
3K details: ▼Range when not fully charged reduced by about 20%.
△Time taken to fully charge reduced by about 6%.
Splat Chargers also get a 20% reduction in range on non-fully charged shots with a 4% longer range when fully charged.
Hydra gets increased damage to 35 when fully charged.
@Platina haha, maybe so. I know with the 3K at least, almost everyone including myself uses damage ups to reduce the charge time for a kill usually. Same for the splatter scopes, but the charge time isn't too bad for me personally so I focus on special charge with the kelp.
I'll have to see how much this effects me with 2 damage ups on my custom 3K scope. I do also need to use it up close sometimes though so I'm not sure if I will change it. Other abilities are cold blooded (nerfed a bit, but still useful) and some ink refill and quick super jump subs.
@Kazuo: Yes, I almost always run a strength main, sometimes 2, but I feel it's more worth it to use another main at that point. At least there was no damage reduction..
Cold Blood nerf makes me not want to use it as much, especially with the Echolocater Nerf from 12 > 9 secs
@Platina ya, I think the first damage nerf was enough (and was probably needed).
I am kind of thinking of using a different main, but I'm not sure what I would use instead. Plus 4.5 seconds is still better than 9.
@Kazuo: I normally run Defence main , Cold Blooded and Strength Up for my Sniper set, but more often than not, it's not super useful for Snipers so I've been using other abilities recently..
Head: Comeback (ranked) / Ink Save Main
Body: Defence / Ink Save Sub
Shoes: Strength
..but to be honest, you can't really go wrong with any ability
2 Strengths isn't bad either, but I don't use it since I use Splatterscope more than Eliter
@Jazzer94@Platina okay, thanks I'll give some of those abilities a try.
I really like how with these updates, they're trying to make all weapons and abilities viable for use so that we can likely see some more variety in what abilities are used.
I don't think that special saver was that popular before, but with the larger penalties then I think we could see it used more often. And with less range for charger shots that aren't fully charged, we could see more variety in 3K sets too.
