@Kazuo: Ah, thanks. Like I said in my edit that would dampen my enthusiasm a bit, but I could still be of some use if there's nobody else. Only problem is I'm so frantic with my Luna that it's hard to settle down and actually snipe... I'm one of those splat charger fools who gets right up in your face with lots of point blank splats.
@TheXReturns: By the way, what is the format of the tournament you guys play? Modes, rounds, brackets, team composition, etc. Not a big deal, just curious. Only looking to have some fun. Appreciate it.
We play four teams, each of four members, (based on something banal that the host thinks up of), who are sorted by their rank and favoured ranked mode (to get fairly balanced teams). (Which I forgot, In addition to filling out the doodle, you need to say your rank, favoured weapon, and best to worst modes of ranked, tower control, splat zones, and rainmaker, for team purposes).
It's a standard knockout with plate, so each team plays two rounds, each comprised of either 7 or 9 matches, so it should take about an hour and a half.
The only modes used are the ranked ones, as turf war is solely decided by whomever holds the ground in the last 30 seconds, making it a bit weak for tournaments of similar skill levels, in my eyes.

I'm going to try and take a break for at least a few days, as I spent a little more time than I should have trying to make that 'final push', but I'll poke my head back here when I can.
I've been eying the thread for a while, but haven't felt quite qualified to join in with the high rank squadding. I hope I'm more or less competent enough to hold my own now, but we'll see.
Oh yeah my NNID is ACK002. If anyone wants to add me I'm usually playing daily and more than happy to squad up with anyone.
EDIT: Should give fair warning to anyone who despises hoppity Luna punks that my manic play style will likely drive you mad. My apologies.
@TheXReturns: When I try to save after filling in the doodle I get an stuck in an endless loading loop... Never used this site before so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. On my phone as well, so maybe that's the problem...
@ACK I'll add you once I'm next on. I'm a 'head-on roller' so you won't annoy me. I might annoy you though, with constantly dying and splatting. I get pretty high Splats and Deaths, so it about balances out. XD

@Freeon-Leon We don't do that. XD Some squids do, but you don't have to.
I plan on using an online chat to keep on top of all the updates, so you'd be prohibited from being a team captain (as I need internet connected people to relay scores and such back to me), but I certainly don't see why you can't participate.
In fact, the team that won the first splatournament, team Sheldon, didn't use any chat of any kind. XD
@TheXReturns: Looks like our worries about being able to find enough players is gone! Glad to see many players interested; the tournament is gonna happen!
