I think'm giving up on this game yet again. fell down to a C+ and by all efforts made, the motion controls do NOT work properly for me. I'm envious of people who say it's so much better than the regular controls because I will never understand it. All the weapons to me are are also useless except the Kraken Roller. Trust me I tried others with motion controls and it never worked out. It's so gittery and I have no sense of control at all.
Thiis is just one of those games that I can enjoy from time to time gut I willALWAY suck at.
@Nicolai okay, currently you are the only one who has confirmed they can participate next week. We'll have to wait for a reply from pokepaul and Pikminfan.
If anyone else wants to join Nicolai give one of us a shout since he will need at least one more teammate (or more depending on if anyone else could join or not)
Just a reminder for those interested, it is a charger only tournament on squidboards starting next week Sunday April 10th at 2pm Eastern.
@Rexcalibr: Sorry if you've been asked this a billion times already, but have you tried turning down the sensitivity? I usually have it at -2, but even with that, my aim can be jittery like you said. I've got rather shaky hands, which is why I like weapons like the tri-slosher that don't require that much aim.
@Nicolai: Yes I've tried messing with the sensitivity. The camera moves slower but it's still all over the place. I think the problem is, the game is a high entense game where time is important and I can't calm down enough to be moving around the gamepad tablet and feel like I'm moving precisely or accurately. I do better without motion controls but still not very good at all.
Not knocking the game and it's a great game. It's just not something I'll ever be good at, similar to some people with fighting games.
@Kazuo: I don't think I'll be able to attend , especially if you set a time , because usually I don't have a fix schedule so I might miss a match or not even be able to join you on that day altogether.
MASSIVE SPLATOON PLAYER , LOVE POKEMON, FIRE EMBLEM AND BAYONETTA SERIES .
ADD ME ON WII U : MEGAPOKEPAUL
@Kazuo: Also as @pikminfan22 suggested we could make our own tournament ! That would be better since sometimes all of us are online at the same time . We'd just need to set up teams then.

@Nicolai since you are the only one able to make it next week do you still want to be in the tournament? And if so, do you have any friends who could fill in for others since there haven't really been any others who want to join on here.
I finally managed to reach S rank, so I think I can almost be considered a proper player now. It took me long enough, but I'm really glad to have made it as Splatoon is of my favourite games I've played in years and I wanted to do it justice. You can't really 'complete' the competitive online side of the game, but S rank feels like a big enough land mark to count as a vaguely conclusive achievement.
I'd like to get involved in the NL squads at some point, but I think I might take a break for the time being and let some real life take centre-stage.
@Kazuo: I don't really know anyone outside of Nintendo Life that still plays Splatoon on a regular basis. I don't think I could find anyone else to join the team.
What kind of tournament are you rounding up a team for? I'd be down if my schedule allows. I play daily as a Luna Blaster Neo main. Pushed three separate accounts (mine + plus my two kids') to S rank in solo ranked. I could maybe be of some help...
EDIT: I see people referring to a charger battle, which would dampen my enthusiasm a bit, but I've put in some work with the splat charger. Problem is I'm far too squirrelly to camp on a perch, so I can't help but jump into the fray to mix it up...
