Anyone wanna join up for private battle? Unless you want to do squads; just know that my internet connection is not the best right now, since I'm currently residing in a really cheap hotel.
@Shani That's brilliant! We're definitely trying that, but prolly not on blackbelly. Port might be an idea.
There's also some other non-programmed games we can try, just as a bit of fun.
Hide and seek's the main one obviously, where the hiders go hide before the seekers go seek.
I've also seen a variant on that though, where there is one hider per team (but has to be in a killable place), and the other teammates have to protect their hider, whilst trying to find the opposition's hider.
I have guidelines for both, somewhere.

Anyone else have any thoughts on those/ideas?
Nicolai, Eli-Ash, and I played bumper cars for a few matches quite a while ago, and it was really fun! 8 players would be chaos! XD I've always wanted to try hide and seek too. If we get enough players today at 4pm GMT, (about an hour from now) do you guys want to try hide and seek/bumper cars?
I've found a ruleset for Hide and Seek which sounds alright:
Alpha are Seekers, Bravo are Hiders
(Phase 1) The first 2 mins, Hiders can act freely with main/sub/special weapons. Seekers must wait at spawn.
(Phase 2) After 2 mins elapsed (ie 3 mins left on clock), Seekers search for Hiders and try to splat them with main/sub weapons (no special weapons). Hiders can still move around and use main/sub weapons, but they cannot attack Seekers (ie no self-defence, only running away).
Details:
If you are a Hider and you get splatted, you are out. You must wait at or near your spawn. If you meet a Seeker, squidbag or something to show that you're out.
Seekers can Super Jump freely, Hiders can only Super Jump in Phase 1.
To check how many Hiders have been splatted, check their spawn to see how many are waiting there.
If all Hiders are splatted, the Seekers can carry the Tower/RM home.
Illegal:
Echolocator, Point Sensors, Disruptors, Recon, Special Weapons in Phase 2
Hiding in areas Seekers cannot reach (eg team bases on Saltspray)
Other:
Games will use TC/RM version of the maps, to avoid accidental victories.
Seems reasonable to me. Are you all up for it in about 40 mins then?
