Topic: Splatoon - OT

Every Red vs. Blue match I played in, us on the blue team pulverized the red team, and every Blue vs. Blue game was actually really difficult. I only lost one game against red. It sounds like that's resonating with everyone else here as well. I'd be super-surprised if Blue Team didn't win this one.

Blue King. Still only 5 losses. There were some close calls (One match was down to 0.5% between us...), but I've had fun.

I hope I wake up to a Blue victory.

@Lycidas: Once you make it to S you'll see how good E Liters defend themselves in CQC.

I've never played Earthbound, but I feel like there's an Earthbound joke to be had here.

I've pummeled plenty of Blue teams, so don't get too comfortable

Also, jumping over a Kraken several times is stupid fun

@Freeon-Leon @Lycidas Those burst bombs are nasty... They're one of the things that can best a roller in cqc if aimed right...

@TingLz Unfortunately for you, you're in the American Splatfest, so you can't alter the waves over here.

I wish they redid the titles so that they were Trainer, Leader, Master, etc. Would have made this Splatfest more authentic

Red has lost hard I dropped one game total from start to finish and spawn camped to a ridiculous level, only lost because one laggy dude lagging.

Well, I just went and played some matches, and I never lost any one of those matches. I'm so hawt I'm super effective against Charizard himself.
I swear, if Marie wins this time... the time when I decided to go with Callie... I'll rage. Hard.

Haha, @Freeon-Leon (and all the rest), I hope we're all wrong, but I get the same vibe. Only played a few matches for Team Red, and none of them were pretty.

I don't know, I played for Team Red I had a pretty fantastic winning streak! Guess we'll see but my bet's still on Team Red at least for NA.

Blue won in all territories. Red was most popular everywhere.

I wish I could care more about these Splatfests but they always feel one sided. One side is almost always begging for pity because they're being killed.

x6 multiplier for wins is broken so the least popular team always wins. Should be changed to x4 to be more fair.

Statistically speaking, the x6 doesn't actually affect wins compared to x4. Matter of fact, there is no guarantee for wins even if you are less popular. You are randomly sorted into matches, so the random selection is what affects wins. Even if the more popular team faces each other, that counts as a neutral game. In short, winning is what makes a team win

In my opinion, popularity shouldn't even be counted.
