@TingLz I hear reports of it happening all over. Shrugs I ended up in a 2v2 match due to disconnects. Wonder if the servers are having to work overtime.

@Lycidas I'm above A rank, (S) and you could probably beat me in a squid fight. Sure, there are some REALLY good players out there, but that's not the full story for the high ranks. Just keep on rising.

Well now I'm in a string of fights where my teammates are complete idiots. I guess I won't even make it to Defender now..

BAH! I was forced to switch to my secondary weapon: the roller. I seem to be doing much better now

All regions are currently in Splatfest now right? Japan's will be ending in 5 hours from now, but I believe Europe's has started now. NA's began I think 10 hours ago?

I hope I can get in a few more games. I've lost so many of my games to green...
The thing I hate most is that in most of those matches, my team was winning until the last few seconds...

Tis okay, my (second) favorite weapon the roller crushed a bunch of Blue losers

I seem to be experiencing major glitches or lag with my roller. I'm bumping into opponents and not killing them and shooting them point blank and missing.

Heh heh. I don't know what it's like in the Americas but from my experience here in the UK, it's a total tidal wave. ^^

More like a lag wave. The servers seem to be having issues here

I guess this explains the no previous worldwide splatfest (as in splatfest occuring at the same time for all regions) setup, the servers can't cope.

@TheXReturns: Haha, yeah, but I'll bet you'll be giving as much as you'd take.

Made it to Fanclub-leader, but there were some severely one-sided matches, for both teams. The worst for me was being held at the Spawn point despite having two dynamos and a medusa roller on my team on skatepark. But those rollers didn't seem to know you could flick those things, so they just kept on rolling and getting splatted.

A very fun splatfest, and despite having a slow start with a couple of disconects, I made the afternoon without a single one.

@TingLZ Actually, it seems to have gotten a lot better here.

@DreamyViridi We will crush those Charizards for the glory of the Blastoise empire!
There's been no Blue/Blue matches so far, and I've only had five losses. I hope Blue wins it here.

I kinda like the global splatfest. It's meant that we've all been online talking splatfest at the same time.
...Plus, it continues the increase in quality of EU splatfest questions.

Well, I expect team blue to win, but I'll get my revenge by taking charmander as starter and roasting some turtle.

@TheXReturns: Same here. As far as lag goes; there have been a few hiccups but it's been mostly smooth. Had a slight losing streak but I've faced nothing but Red Teams.

Hope those not-dragons are ready for some Salt Water!

@DreamyViridi This is one of those rare occasions that I actually want to go all the way to king because of the contest, not the snails. Let's put the bishop of Gen 1 in his rightful place.

Ugh. It seems I have dimwits on my team. One person kept shooting the water in Camp Triggerfish, and the two teammates I trusted to keep painting turf while I defend them from the back got splatted by one of the opponents.
Ugh.

And then the one time we were destroying the blue team, the connection was lost.
