Topic: Shovel Knight 3ds or Wii U?

I am thinking of getting Shovel Knight and am wondering which system I should get it on and why?

Why not both?

It depends on if you want portability or multiplayer.

Other than those two points, the games are exactly the same on both consoles.

I have never used the multiplayer, but I would probably still suggest Wii U. It feels more like a console game than a portable game to me.

Well, I've never played it on a home console, so it's the opposite for me.

I'd get the 3ds one for the streetpass game.

3D is the way to go. SK was made for 3DS. Once you see it in action you'll never go back

I got it on both, the only game I've ever done that for other than Smash Bros. Mostly because I knew I was going to play it a lot and I did. This is how much I've played on each version:

3DS:

• Beat the game
• Got most of the way through New Game +
• Played a bit with the invincibility mode for fun
• Played through most of the DLC, maybe about 3/4 of the game
• Streetpass challenges, had a few of them

Wii U:

• Got to the final boss but didn't see the need to beat it
• Messed around with the DLC but not much
• Played a few levels with the Amiibo

The Amiibo Knight is so good, it's like playing a completely new game.
