It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
Because I don't think those jokes are funny, or were ever funny.

No. Link should be a guy. Just because he doesn't shoot steroids into his eyes like Chris Redfield, Kratos, Dante (Dante's Inferno), the Gears of War heroes, and Master Chief doesn't make him feminine. If you want to get interesting, make a Zelda game where Zelda is actually the one you play as.
GET OUT OF HERE CDi GAMES! NO ONE WANTS YOU!!
I own a PS1, GBA, GBA SP, Wii (GCN), 360, 3DS, PC (Laptop), Wii U, and PS4.
I used to own a GBC, PS2, and DS Lite
if zelda were a man, then he would probably end up being an a-hole about it, because it's very likely to me it seems that zelda would have a lot of pride in his head, so if you ended up saving him, he'd probably say:
"took you long enough" or "ppssshhh! i let him kidnap me!" or "hey sexy lady!"
as long as he's not saying 'well excuuuuuuuuuse me, Link!', i guess we can't complain.
that said, if you're going to troll like that, this kinda isn't the thread for it. please be serious. :/
actually dragon, im being dead serious :/. i imagine men stereotypically as proud figures. im a little proud myself. that's what i really imagine a male zelda to say (minus that last bit of course). i mean, dont we already have at least a little amount of townspeople that already act like that? i wasnt even attempting to troll D:

Because this topic is just so serious. It may not be life or death, but it's pretty damn close.
Nope. I don't think so at all. On a side note, the first time I played Super Smash Bros (Melee), I had barely heard of Zelda. I thought Zelda could switch from Zelda, the girl, to Sheik, the man :l Ever since, I have decided I never want to see a famous Nintendo star swap genders. Besides... would it work, a woman saving Zelda? Link being a boy fits the role much better ._.
i never saw zelda's other personnae, sheik, as being male. a good warrior, but she's still female.
in Rune Factory 2, the hero's child can be female. she carries on her father's work of saving the kingdom, battling monsters etc.
I'm not sexist at all, in fact I believe in equal rights for everyone regardless of what color, gender, or sexual orientation they are. I just happen to find it funny cause it is stupid and edgy, unlike most humor out there.
