@MaseSco Not sure if you are talking about the Retro-bit Saturn controllers, but I have both the wired and 2.4 ghz wirelss, and play them with SF 30th anniversary and Ultra SF II. They work great for those.

Yes, it was the Retrobit one - specifically the 2.4Ghz wireless too. I'm guessing you mean it works with Switch quite well as those titles are on there. I was hoping someone might've tried with Wii U for those SF2 titles, I might take the plunge anyway and find out.
I am surprised that you say it works with the Anniversary Collection as my d-pad does not work with the Steam version. Good to know for when I get a Switch 👍
@MaseSco You might be able to get it to work on Steam by switching between x-input and d-input. The is a certain button combination that does that. Im not sure if the controller is compatible with wii u. It is not on retro-bit's official compatibility list.
