Dakko Dakko has also posted some "Scram Kitty Super Plays" videos on YouTube (these are also found in the Scram Kitty Development room on Miiverse, where Dakko Dakko also is present).
One thing I now noticed that I haven't seen mentioned in any review is that the game data is global, so all users on the same Wii U share the same options and saved game state.
Are there multiple save files? I don't object to globally-accessible save data, but all users sharing it is a bit goofy. Given I may end up in a household with four to five users I do wish companies would stop limiting save files to three!

No, one save file. Dakko Dakko replied that the upside of this is that different users can help saving the kitties.
Personally, I fail to see why it should be designed that way on purpose, since I could easily play as another player in the household if I wanted to help. And for Scram Kitty, if the users on the same machine have different skill levels, it will only result in the one with highest skill level will save all the cats and the rest of the players would just do a replay. OTOH, rescuing cats is basically just about unlocking more levels, nothing else.
I played a few levels. Very original and very hard. I love how your jumps are lower when you are shooting. Very long jumps are hard to get right, but necessary with scaredy cats.
I will comment in this thread, never being able to find it again.
Yes I have picked it up because of the sale and I'm enjoying it enormously - love when an indie game does what indie games are supposed to do: take risks and try something new. I'm sad I'm not rich and I couldn't get this game for full price - it deserves it.
I am not sure why this game has a reputation for having bad controls. The controls are indeed intuitive and precise, it's the levels that are hard. So people are basically playing a novel idea with an high difficulty level and they are blaming the controls instead of admitting they need practice because it's a new thing.

I did bite, despite vowing only to buy games available in my region (Australia). £20 eShop credit for $36 was worth it for Scram Kitty, unEpic, Abyss and Blok Drop U with £5 left.
As for Scram Kitty, I had fun in the short amount of time I had with it(thank-you unEpic). I didn't get the controls right away but it didn't take long to get used to. A bit like TW101.

I hope a lot of scaredy cats (following the game's theme) take the plunge now that it is cheaper. If $10 was a steal, $5 is a bank robbery.
I love this game and I managed to get 100% without any help and bragged about it on Miiverse, two things I haven't done with any game in a long time.
did you get the occasional bug where the big mouse that fades in-out vanishes before you landing the last hits and never comes back? Or, am I imagining things?

There's an update available now, for all released regions:
EDIT: With the following Miiverse notes: Hi Everyone. Rhod from Dakko Dakko here. Thanks for the continued support and comments about our game! I'm very glad to announce that the software update for Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails is finished and now available! Just start the game (if your Wii U is connected to the internet) and it should update automatically. You can check you have the latest version (v1.1) by looking at the TV screen when the game starts. v1.1 is displayed in the corner of the updated version. I hope you enjoy the tweaks and refinements introduced in this update. Almost every stage has been slightly re-balanced, and the double-jump is easier to execute (and more powerful than ever!). Mice behave slightly differently, and for the perfectionists amongst you, the game will now display a special ribbon on each stage where you have saved ALL available cats in one go! There are many little tweaks to make the game even more fun, so I look forward to hearing your thoughts. Thanks again for playing Scram Kitty and his Buddy on Rails. Enjoy the update!
