I'm 100% getting this, apparently it comes with 25% off for the first week.

Yep the Wii version and it used either the controller or remote so it should have off screen play.

It's just RE4. Where's Revelations 2 or better REmake HD?

On the Xbox and Playstation.

@skywake: I got it for £7.99. I'm not a Resident Evil fan but can't beat it at that price. Even at 25% off though, its not really worth downloading Resident Evil 4. Just check how low it costs on amazon.co.uk. I have no qualms about downloading VC games since even the DS games offer more than the original cartridge release does with save states and suspend features. But retail Wii games? All that does is waste your money and fill up your console's memory since you can't play Wii games from your external hard drive. Using the Game Pad buttons is cool and convenient though.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

I really wish this would come to the states. I would buy it in a heartbeat. Haven't bought the PC version because I want those Wii Remote controls.

People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

@Bass_X0: Uh...lol what? The save data isn't stored on your hard-drive, but the games themselves are.

This sucks, it supports the remote and classic controller but not the gamepad. If I knew it wouldn't have off screen I probably would have not bought it!

You can get a Bluetooth dongle and use the Wii remote on PC.

I assume you can still look at the game on the Gamepad and play with the classic controller. That would still be offscreen gameplay.

I could take a cordless home phone outside but it still wouldn't be a mobile phone...

So you would rather take the complete regular homephone outside rather than to hold a cordless phone to make calls?

The Wii version also supported the GameCube controller. It's not good that it doesn't support the GamePad as controller!

I really don't like the navigation bar of Nintendo Life continuously reappearing while browsing!!

Bah.
I was a massive fan of Resident Evil 4 on Gamecube.
I love motion controls in things like Metroid Prime and Splatoon.
But
Resident Evil 4 controls are awkward. The Wii mote cannot move the screen, you have to use an analogue stick for that (whilst holding down an aim button!) I am rather disappointed how clunky it is. Now, as this is the first time I played the Wii version there may be some hindsight here.

I never drive faster than I can see. Besides, it's all in the reflexes.
