Don't get me wrong at the start and end of a generation were pretty important as we keep the game sales going (wii being the giant expection) but for the most part the regular consumer is the target audience. The people who only buy about 4 games a year even though they are the same game as last year.
The wii and the xbox's most profitable times have been when pushing software that most of the "hardcore" probably wouldn't buy.
WAT!
Hey check out my awesome new youtube channel shingi70 where I update weekly on the latest gaming and comic news form a level headed perspective.
I laugh at the term "hardcore". In reality, they're not. You can turn Wii Sports Resort and even Wii Fit into a "hardcore" game if you wanted to.
Try 3-5 star'ing everything and perfecting all the exercises. That's pro right there. Of course, you have to have the right body (like me ) to perform such a task.
Also, the casuals will eventually find out that WiiU is a brand new system regardless and if they're interested in getting one. First Impression: "Accessory for my Wii"
Conclusion: "Oh, it's a whole new system"
End result: Varies- they may or may not get one because they could be satisfied with Wii or whatever else they have or they just have no interest in getting another game platform.
Me: Getting it at/near launch and will be looking forward to the games that roll out. As well as looking forward to PS4- maybe :3
Ah, you're twisting what I'm saying so things go in your favor. That's exactly what you're doing. And anyone who can think outside the box should know the balance board has no use with Wii Sports Resort and know what I'm talking 'bout.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3
