I'm just playing as whatever the most recent girl is that I've unlocked — not very far into the game, so just have the 2nd one so far.

I think you're talking about Elysia?

I play as the golden teensie...because he glows.

Off-topic but diamond for the daily challenge right now is 19' 49", and I have 19' 48". Uh oh. EVERY TIME I GET A DIAMOND CUP I LOSE IT!

So far I really like it! It's great fun, and looks awesome! I also like the Murfy levels! And the humor! And those cool underwater levels, wich are inspired by James Bond!! It's also a pretty full game, wich I like!

Downside is that it is pretty easy so far! Hopefully it gets harder later on. Origins was quite hard in the later levels!

Well, I finally got 100% one world, lol.Wanna guess which one?
Hint: It's the easiest one. xD

yeah pretty much the only downside to this game for me is that its much easier than origins. the only hard bits really are the last couple worlds invaded levels. there is a secret world but its.... how do i say, different lol.

Completed the game in the middle of last week, and since then I've been trying to complete all the invaded levels, and Origins levels.I think I have just over 500 Teensies.
Certainly the best game on Wii U,and dare I say it,the best platformer for a very very long while, the only niggle I have with the game is that it's a wee bit easy, but the invaded levels do offer a decent challenge,

I would love a some DLC with some more Music levels.

I agree that it's a bit too easy, not ruining the experience though.

yeah, this is one game i would buy dlc for. id love a land of the livid dead style challenge. the last world of legends was way too easy after the horror of origins tricky treasures and bonus world.

put it on.

@Miss_Dark Thank you!

The game is sort of easy I guess, but the real difficulty of the game lies in the challenges and invasions. Getting diamond is almost impossible for me in most cases, but the competitive nature of the challenges/invasions keeps me going! The game is also much harder with 4-5 players. Just try it out with a scrolling level and you'll see what I mean. Some of the 8 bit levels were a bit tough too.

MY TOP FIVE 2D PLATFORMERS OF ALL TIME

1 Rayman Legends
2 Yoshi's Island
3 Super Mario Bros. 3
4 Super Mario World
5 Super Metroid

Yep, it's that good. Sorry, Nintendo, your dominance in the 2D platformer genre is fading. All those years of edging out Capcom, only for Ubi to swoop in and grab the throne.

It's time to step the game up. Mario's Grass, Fire, Ice, Water simple world themes don't compare to the unique and complex worlds this game presents. They are so creative, so unique, so fun. Bouncing off dragons, flying in the air, hopping off and on crumbling castle towers, Mariachi themes, Music levels, it's just leaps and bounds beyond.

I don't want to play as TOAD! This game has dozens of cool characters. Sure their gameplay is the same, but so aren't Mario's characters'.

This game is so good.

@letsgoretro yeah its a real shame, i cant imagine them ever changing the 2d mario formula now, its been to long.

put it on.

@letsgoretro I have to agree, and it's hard not to!
As much as I love Mario and have enjoyed being a part of Nintendo's history with 2d platforming to date, Rayman Legends is just so refreshing to play. This game brings some much needed innovation to the genre!

Yeah, it was nice playing a good platformer for once! I almost want to get origins now just so I can try out another Rayman game. The fact that you don't have lives or a time limit in this game is awesome (well except the pseudo-time limit in invasions). Also, the online implementation is perfect. Nintendo needs to start taking notes!

I warn you, it is sort of hard to go back to origins. As much as I love it, legends just plays so much more smoothly. Origins is still an amazing game however, and I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Rayman Origins was MUCH harder then Legends! Hopefully Retro studios paid attention to Ubisoft and doesn't skimp out on the difficulty in their upcoming DKC!

But to end on a positive note: Oh man, that level with the wrestlers!! Made me laugh so hard!!
