Looks neat though. But I guess the Paper Mario fans will complain regardless.

Oh boy; I can't wait to hear everyone complain about the fact that this isn't like Thousand Year Door.

It has paint, obviously it's bad like Sunshine.

Looks fun! It's like a combination Splatoon and De Blob, which are both great games! Looking forward it!

...and it should be better than Sticker Star. Sticker Star shouldn't be that hard to beat.

I'm not worried about it being another Sticker Star yet. It's too fresh, we know so little, who knows what will actually happen. Maybe the whole video was just the opening level where it's minimal. Looked beautiful though from what we saw. I'm excited!

It has a vague 2016 date so I'm guessing it's a Fall release at the earliest. The visuals look very nice though.

I hope it follows TTYD line instead of sticker star, but at least it looked nice.

And why shouldn't people complain? The Thousand Year Door was an amazing game, got great reviews, and ever since then, each new game in the series has seen the formula been dumbed down in a big, BIG way. This looks like it plays identical to Sticker Star, which was no longer even in the same genre as the two GOOD PM games, so should we just be happy they made a new game in a series we are fond of? Don't think so.

Console Paper Mario? Color me excited! Still wish for a super paper mario sequel but I'm excited for this new one.

On second thought, it looks good, but it looks like they're trying to match Unreal Engine a bit

@Peach64: I (and I know a lot of others) liked Super Paper Mario. There's also a very clever line in that game that teases people who go online and rant about games they've never played. Perhaps you've seen it and can reserve your judgement until you've seen more than one vague trailer? Francis was the best though.

Um, so wasn't really stoked at the reveal. Well, the game still looks like it's far away from it's launch date.
Looks.... odd, to be honest. Did Paper Mario finally meet Splatoon? XD

I'm guessing someone at Intelligent Systems saw those Unreal Engine 4 remakes and thought "our game should look like that".

The graphics look pretty good, and I've never really had much experience with Mario RPGs. So I'll try to just refrain judgment on the overall game for the time being.

Graphically it looks awesome... But it seems it'll be just Sticker Star 2.
