This info supposedly comes from the video interview below. We hear Toshihiro Nagoshi state that the next new Yakuza game is unlikely to hit Wii U, and is definitely not hitting 3DS.
I think this is a low blow to Nintendo. Remember the recent Nintendo Direct, SEGA actually had a Sega Direct in japan to show case Yakuza 1 & 2 HD for WiiU.
So what is the point of building the fan base for the series with the previous ports then ignoring them for future releases.....I honestly think this is UNACCEPTABLE.
I'm not suprised, I was actually kind of suprised when they announced the HD collection for Wii U since it had historicely been a PS exclusive series, all the new entires in the series probably still will be though.

You understand video game business are there to make money and not just satisfy some fans right? There is nothing unacceptable about this. They owe Wii U owners who buy the HD collection absolutely nothing.
